The U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi sponsored the 7th Annual U.S. Education Fair on October 9, 2009, at Expo Georgia. The Fair was jointly organized by the U.S Embassy and Education USA advising centers - Kvali Education Advising Center and the Center for International Education. The information booths presenting 20 U.S. universities were open from 10 AM to 6 PM. The Fair was an excellent opportunity to network with students and other visitors, promote the benefits of studying in the US Universities as well as distribute information and highlight application and admissions information. The fair invited visitors to attend seminars on U.S. educational system, how to apply to U.S. universities individually, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, U.S. standard tests, how to write statement of purpose, U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs and many more.
About 500 visitors attended the Education Fair.
